Major Exhibition A
powerful winter experience featuring over 30 new originals from iconic
American oil painter Anne Packard will take place at Brilliance In
Color Fine Art Gallery (St. Augustine's largest) at #25 King Street (on
the plaza) downtown St. Augustine. A large body of work will include
many of her new larger format canvases as well as a strong mixture of
small and medium size landscapes and seascapes. Packard fans will note
her continuing recognition as an artist of major significance. Packard
has publicly stated that her new found love of spending winters in
Florida is based upon a fondness for St. Augustine and the hundreds of
Florida collectors who understand the work that centers her life.Anne Packard | Expressions January 20th -21st (Fri/Sat.) Historically
personal appearances from Anne Packard are extremely rare and although
she has requested us (management) to keep her in the background and,
"let my work do the talking for me", it is clear that this is the time
for art collectors to be in the presence of one of America's most
sought after painters. A private dinner party will take place on
January 21st (Call for Details: 904-810-0460) and the show will be on
display to the public from January 1st to January 31st. |
Extraordinary Exhibition: 3 Living Spanish Masters Ramon Vilanova | M.D. Rubio | Josep Domenech February 10th and 11th (Fri/Sat) In
our continuing determination to bring only the best in fine art from
around the world to our Florida collectors we have arranged for a
special Spanish Masters Group Exhibition. The work featured includes
some of the finest landscapes in the world from our long-time friend
Ramon Vilanova whose heavily textured oils painted "en plein aire"
throughout his native Spain are consider among the world's best. as
well as the second appearance in St. Augustine of M.D. Rubio whose
colorful multi-faceted collage like creations include materials such as
paper, pastels and fabric as well as oils and watercolors in a
multimedia explosion of colors that set her apart as one of the more
unique living Spanish Masters. Additionally, the featured work of Josep
Domenech whose astounding creations in portraiture and still life
represent an achievement of major significance, the artist uses no
brushes but rather works with pigment and cloth in a pure free-hand
technique centered on classism which is highly acclaimed throughout
Europe. This exhibition should be noted by serious collectors
who understand and appreciate the value of collecting art work that
until recently was only available to those willing to travel to Europe.
Cutter & Cutter Fine Art is determined to make St. Augustine, FL
the "magnetic center" of fine art in the South. Collectors no longer
have need to travel to major cities to be surrounded by major artists
and their work.....St. Augustine is now routinely recognized as one of
the Nation's and the World's most important places to enjoy fine art. |
